A pipeline built for project work.
Most CRMs are built for salespeople who sell the same thing repeatedly. Agencies do not work that way: an inquiry is a stranger with a form fill, a lead is someone worth researching, an opportunity has a number attached, and an account is a client with projects running. AgencyGenius uses those four stages because they are the ones that change what you do next.
Inquiry → Lead → Opportunity → Account - the stages a web agency actually uses, with AI Insights flagging the leads worth chasing first.
What's in it
AI Insights
Every lead gets scored from signals we can gather without asking you to do anything: Lighthouse performance on their current site, DNS and hosting setup, and whether they have a Google Business Profile. A slow site on shared hosting with no GBP is a different conversation to a fast, well-optimised one.
Stage automations
Moving a card is the trigger, not the admin. Drag an opportunity into Proposal and the follow-up sequence starts; close it Won and the project, invoice and onboarding tasks all spawn from the line items you quoted.
Inquiry inbox
Form fills from any source land in one triage inbox, spam-scored on arrival. You convert the real ones into leads with the contact details already filled in, and archive the rest without them ever touching your pipeline.
How it works
An inquiry arrives
From a site form, an embedded form or a webhook. It is scored for spam and the contact fields are parsed out automatically.
You convert it to a lead
One click. Cheap enrichment runs — Lighthouse, DNS, Google Business Profile — so you know who you are dealing with before you reply.
It becomes an opportunity
Attach a value and an expected close date. This is the stage where the expensive AI work runs: research, a sales brief, competitor context.
You close it Won
The lead converts to an account, a project spawns per line item, and the invoice or subscription is created on your Stripe.
What you actually get
- Kanban board and table views, per-user preference
- Spam scoring on every inbound inquiry
- Lead scoring from Lighthouse, DNS and GBP signals
- AI sales brief generated at opportunity stage
- Won fan-out: project, invoice, subscription and onboarding tasks
- Full activity timeline on every record
Questions
Do I have to use all four stages?
No. Plenty of agencies skip the inquiry stage entirely and create leads by hand, or work straight in opportunities. The stages gate which automated work runs, not what you are allowed to do.
Does the AI cost me anything per lead?
The scoring at lead stage is free signals only — no LLM calls. The expensive research runs at opportunity stage, once you have decided the deal is real, so you are not paying to enrich tyre-kickers.
